Based south of London in Caterham, I am a highly capable photographer in all situations.
Trained at the London College of Communication, formerly the LCP, I hold a BA in Photojournalism, and have worked for the Croydon Advertiser and associated Trinity Mirror newspapers for over five years.
Working to strict press deadlines and having to be adaptable to constantly changing situations, I am experienced in covering a wide range of events and fulfilling complex briefs.
I was lucky enough to meet the British photographer Jane Bown whilst working at the Observer picture desk archive, and she inspired me to adopt her concise and dignified approach to photographing a subject. Her shoots lasted only 15 minutes on average, not wasting any time, and she always took the initiative to find the photo.
